GBS James's Minecraft Development

That's Me
This is James's work in progress page that shows How His mine craft world is developing, you can expect to see some screenshots and tours of his creations. As well as some tutorials on how to make the tools and constructions that he will end up making. We hope you look forward to it as much as we are.

Day 13:

Today I just found myself dragging my feet, I carried on with my roof (Which I will show in my next post). I also started moving my miners so that I could get more cobblestone to carry on with the building. But apart from that, I didn't do much else since I have been doing more research into Technic and playing other games.

I will definitely be doing more mining and making new machines next time, since I have been doing more research into Technic.

Day 12: more building

Today I carried on with my world by just simply building more of my Castle. The first thing of course I did for this is I moved my Airship out of the way so I would have space to build more of my castle.
Airship moved

The roof of my Castle
After that I used to miners to get more Cobble which I turned into stone and built the roof of the second floor. I then started building the floor of the third floor.
Miners updated
During this I also changed the look of my Miners now making it much easier to move them and activate them all as once since the Redstone cabling activates the engines from a control room which also holds the Generators to power the machines. This now makes it much easier to get around and move the Miners making the process a lot cleaner than having to click so many switches and moving the generators each time.
Storage room
Finally I made it so I now Have a picture in my Storage room as well as well as I built a Crafting table MK: 2 which allows me to simply craft the things I want by clicking on the item in a list of things I can craft with the stuff in my Inventory (The same as crafting on the Xbox 360 but a lot more choices).

Overall today was very productive and I look forward to seeing my castle fully Built in the future.

Day 11: Texture packs
Today I decided to take a step away from my usual Minecraft adventure and decided to check out Four different texture packs for you to view and download below:
(This post is intended to help you choose a Texture pack as well as give insight about which ones work best with a Low resolution PC)
(To Get the packs click on text where it says it can be found "Here" as well as the link is in the packs title)
Precisely portal
The first Texture pack I tested was Precisely Portal. This Mod does as it says and makes everything look like its from the games Portal Still alive and Portal 2.
I chose this Pack because I originally wanted Minecraft to look more futuristic to fit in with the Technic Look of the Furnaces and gadgets.
Castle Drogo (Portal)
The Pack looks very promising and doesn't affect gameplay at all since its a low resolution pack with outstanding results. The Actual look above stays the same so grass is the same and trees But Dirt itself under the grass looks more like Portals cubic view as well as stone and Cobble.
As well as this, Wooden planks are also textured to look more like Portal as well as Flowers.
Bedroom
As seen from the picture above the cobblestone now looks more futuristic and portal like as well as it adds newer looking beds and Doors.

Technic gadgets
As for the enhancements to Technic, There are none, yes some of the Technic gear fits in but all the Wooden components don't fit into the environment as well as the ores found underground.
As for doors and chests, Wooden doors fit in well with the enivronment as well as double Iron doors, But Iron doors by themselves have the circular door patter the same as the ones in the Portal game so the only way to make them look good is to use them as a double door.
Chest room
As for creatures, The creepers have been re-textured to look like Portal robots as well as Zombies but not all creatures are re-textured as well as the dozens that appear in the Technic pack.
As for weapons, The pick axe as you can see has been re textured to look like something off portal as well as the chests but they don't really fit in with the portal atmosphere.
Obsidian
This Pack has also made changes to Obsidian to make it look a bit like companion cubes.
Overall this Pack is amazing for Portal fans Graphically as well as it does not affect gameplay at all but there is the problem that not all the textures fit in with each other.
This Texture pack can be downloaded here.
Halo Minecraft wars
The next texture I decided to download I wanted again to represent something I enjoy and it was on the top list of Mods on the site I downloaded it from.
So of course it had to be Halo.
This Texture Pack not only enhances blocks but also enhances effects such as water as well as a nicer looking HUD and Halo armour.
Castle Drogo
So far this Pack has made the castle look similar to its original but does make the cobblestone look more block like, like the portal Mod but while also obtaining its original colours.
It also changes equipment such as changing the Pick to a gravity hammer as seen above as well as it turns a sword into some kind of energy sword (Although it is a bit different).
It again changes the look of the cobblestone to something similar but smoother as well as it changes all normal crafting blocks apart from Chests.

Crafting room
As for doors, You can have wooden doors which resemble the human blast doors we know and love or you can have Iron which are more forerunner in nature.
In terms of enemies, it turns all creatures into Halo characters such as zombies into grunts and more.
It even gives you a halo like HUD and if you wear a pumpkin it works as a Spartan HUD and helmet as well.

Hallway
This Mod also changes the effect of water, making it much more clear and lighter than its original water.
As seen below it also makes snow balls look like plasma grenades that do the same damage as a snowball.
Stream
This pack also makes the caves look more like what we saw in portal and leaves a less Halo like structure of caves which leaves a lot to be desired.
Obsidian cave
Overall I would count this Texture pack to me counts as "nearly halo", It is good but the weapons don't fit together such as a normal sword is just hitting someone with an assault rifle and caves look more like the portal caves we saw earlier.
But this Texture pack does add some really good designs and fits well enough with Technic like the last pack while also not causing the game to crash. This Pack can be downloaded here.

Tron Craft

After looking at those two packs I decided to stray away from ones based on video games and went searching for something new.
That was when I found This, This pack makes every area look like its from the hit films of Tron and Tron legacy.
This Pack leaves more to be desired. It in my opinion in now way re creates the world of Tron.
This is because Minecraft itself in no way generates worlds smooth enough to have large Tron like structures.
It also doesn't fit in with the Ideas of trees since there are none in any of the Tron world as well as Block hills and caves. This makes it look much more like a strange world with different colours that don't fit with the world they are in.

Tron world
As for buildings, This mod makes houses look like their made of spiders webs and windows look like they are not even there.
As for weapons, the weapons provided are light sabres (Swords) which are in the world but are normally used by guards and much more sleek (This cannot be done properly through Minecraft). But the designer has done his/her best at creating the textures and making it look as near enough to the film as possible, But the only problem is that these textures sadly don't fit as well as the other packs because of how the Minecraft worlds are built.

Castle drogo
As for rooms, My house would have looked a lot better if it was made out of wood or stone but the Pack makes cobble look more strange and so does not fit in as a house.
All the blocks you can craft have been changed apart from the chests like the Portal pack.
As well as this the doors are now much brighter because they light up like the doors in the films.
Crafting room

Gadget room

As for creatures, it makes zombies look like bad guys from the films as well as other creatures but keeps some the same. As for equipment it makes picks look like red arrow and others look like disks from Tron and armour look like Tron outfits.
Overall this Texture pack adds a lot to be desired but I guess you cannot build a world that's perfect as seen in the films. But aside from that I believe this is my least favourite of the Packs seen in this post and leads me to get away from futuristic Packs and instead move onto other things.
As for the pack itself, It doesn't lag as much but looks less like Tron than any of the last packs seen here.
But if you still want this pack, make sure to download it here.

Skyrim craft

Finally I leave the best till last which is the Skyrim craft texture pack which has to be the best so far.
After seeing how bad Sci-fi textures can be, I decided to give the packs one last go and went looking at a site where I found a better looking texture pack that was: Skyrim craft.
In my opinion this pack is visually stunning but hard to use on a Lower resolution PC like mine since it is very detailed and can cause your world to slow down and possibly even craft.
So i would advise only people with Graphically better PC's should get this pack.

The land of Skycraft
This Pack as I said makes everything look like its from Skyrim, so all the weapons are much more grittier and detailed as well as the world.
As you can see from the picture above, It makes the grass look much better and of a higher quality as well as dirt. As for other equipment, it keeps the same shape for all items unlike the other packs.
Castle Drogo
As for buildings, The stone looks much more realistic as well as the lanterns and doors and gives it a very rustic middle age kind of look that is commonly seen in TES games.
Fortress
As for the inside, the chests look much more detailed as well as the crafting tables and other equpiment.
It also makes the floor look more realistic and the stone walls themselves.
In my opinion, the only way you can tell its Minecraft is by rhe Updated HUD and Iron furnace.
The forge
What I also really like about the Pack is how it makes the torches llok more realistic as well as the floor as if its covered with dust and age. This gets rid of the shiny more perfectly colourful blocks seen in Minecraft.
As well as this. The windows are much better and the beds are much more lower class as if a true adventurer would live there. This is also seen in the stairs and Doors.
Chest room
But there is always the point with Technic where  you see that things don't always fit in and so that's why I would prefer a more modern looking texture pack.
Iron doors

Overall this Pack has to be the Best pack so far because it has the best graphics as well as it fits in well with the Vanilla minecraft but I wouldn't recommend if you use Technic or if you have a less enhanced computer like me.
But if you do like this Pack and wish to see more, Make sure to download it here.

Day 10: Moat failure
Today I started my day on Minecraft building rooms in my underground basement. I decided to do this after an Enderman and spiders spawned inside and almost killed me. So I started laying out a floor plan for the rooms leaving at least five of them empty.
Basement floor plan
I then made each of the walls and added doors and torches to the rooms making it much more cosy and brighter than a larger room. I also made several corridors accessing the rooms and Lifts.
Mass & extract room
I now have a room built entirely for items that need electricity to run them and have my Masserator, Batbox and Extractor already set up in there (as seen above).
Craft room
Then I have my store room which is also fitted with Furnaces and a crafting table which I will soon upgrade to a project table since I keep on losing important materials and its much harder top find them in all the chests.
Lunch room
I also built a room around my simple table which will soon have chairs and a chest filled with food which will either be canned food or just sandwiches.
Lift room
I then Built a corridor around my future Lift to the top and room made of stone tiles which will maybe hold a future gate to the nether.
Chest room
Finally I made my Chest room which only has one chest in at the moment but will soon have many which each will have quarry's sending supplies directly to them.
Cactus harvesting
Once I had finished my Rooms I went on to harvest Cactus which I used with Cobblestone from my Miners and sand from the river to produce Waterproof Pipe
Miners

Waterproof piping
Finally I put my Pipes together to find that the water did not come out of the other end and so I hope attach it to a water mill.
This will make it so I get energy from water and hopefully have enough to charge my BatBox.

Overall today I Finished my basement and continued with my second floor and cannot wait to get more done next time.

Day 9: Exploration

Today I started my day by continuing mining underneath my house.
After a while a made Obsidian with lava which then led tow two of my death which both lost all my obsidian and diamond pick axes.
I then went looking for more diamond and after getting bored went on to make a Hacksaw which allows me to turn blocks into different shapes. Such as I made the table which you can see in the picture,
I also made some more chests and gadgets which helped me to make some new equipment.
Main production room

I also built a little room out of stone tiles as well as a Batbox and battery charger which I will try and learn to use in the future.
I also made more red-stone cabling and other useful materials which helped me make my next project.

Machinery
That new project started by me making two more miners and moving all three outside which are now set up and pumping supplies to my house. Sadly though not all of the pipes work properly and I have to keep on moving the miner less than five minutes after I turned it on because they mine so quickly using electric engines.
Who needs a Quarry
Finally I went exploring round and ended up being killed by a Zombie with diamond armour and sword as well as it had a pirate counterpart attacking the town.
I then recollected my stuff and sold 400 cobble to the townsfolk who will turn that into a new fort once they have enough wool (Which there are no sheep).
I then began to explore during the day and came across a familiar sight.
I had found my second Zeppelin and beneath it was the controller which I used to make the craft land and take me half way back home until I glitched out of the plane, but this time survived.
I then left the game and will try and find the craft next time.

Day 8: Miner
Today I spent little time editing the roof of my Castle and instead set to work on some Industrial craft gadgets. The first thing I did was carry on making a miner which I finished and is now digging out more cobblestone to make my castle.
The miner
The electric engine power's the Miner and all the goods that are dug out are taken up the pipe to a chest where they are then stacked in place. The electric engine gets it power from a Generator which is also hooked up to a Masserator, extractor and battery charger.
Once this was built I then began to build a Pump to get water from the nearby river into the Moat. I built a Pump connected to Electrical generators which are connected to a generator.
I may swap the generator for a HEP generator.
Sadly though I need waterproof piping to get the water to the Moat and for that I need either Cactus or Beeswax.
Sadly I could not find any cactuses since I am in a tropical rainforest biome so I set off to harvest Bees.
I then built what was effectively a beehive and found a queen which i put in the device. The hive then made honeycomb which I hope later can become Beeswax.
Beehive
I then left the hive and carried on collecting resources as well as making automated iron doors to my cave and building more pipes.
Once that was done I then went to look at the Village and noticed the the village had upgraded their fort to be much larger. They also upgraded their forge to the north which I will go looking for next time.
Village Fort
I then proceeded to go to the fort and saw that the villagers seemed to be suffering from glitchius meaning that they lost their skins.
To fix this I left the game and then went back on which I also do for tackling wormholes.
Sick villager
Finally I added more torches around my house as well as I chopped more wood and went mining which is a lot easier now I have a Divining rod which I spoke of last time.
Me and my House
In the picture above I have a scoop which I use to collect Queen bees from their hives which makes it much easier to harvest them. Once a Queen is used up in the Hive they give out two Drones and a princess. The princess then can be given a drone so it becomes a queen.
For a hive to successfully do this as well as produce honeycomb it needs to be near flowers with no trees or buildings blocking the sun. It also has to be daytime for them to produce honeycomb.

Overall today went very well and I look forward to getting the waterproof piping built next time so I can then fill my moat to the full.
Day 7: Castle building Part 2
Today I carried on building my castle by first finishing off excavating the foundations and then building the ground floor.
It so far features just a ground floor but you will soon be able to get to each floor either by Stairs or a lifts seen below. So far the walls are not finished since they will be Higher and there will be a roof made of stone.
Second floor
Once I had built the basic shape of the ground floor I added flooring as well as a Mine to get resources and A space for a lift to either go to each floor or go down to the mineshaft.
The first actual pieces of equipment I added were just Crafting tables, chests and furnaces but now I have an Iron furnace and several other cool equipment as seen below.
First floor
One of the new additions is the Iron furnace which allowed me to make Redstone cabling which I used to easily make this pop up table as well as I will be making more Electronic doors in the future. I also put torches all around so creatures would not spawn in the house.
Piston table
Once I had finished with Redstone I then went back to learning Copper wiring's and Proceeded to make a Masserator which turns objects into dust and an Extractor which allows me now to just get Resin by just putting rubber wood into It. I have also connected the generator to a Mining machine which is not yet finished to mine but should be ready for next time.
Latest gadgetry
I also looked at some new gadgets which I created such as the one seen below which tells me how much loot there is in a certain direction while mining (But I still have to upgrade it for it to find diamond).
Overall this new device has meant that I have found much more materials a lot faster since I now know where to go in mining instead of just guessing a pass.
Divining Rod
Overall today went very successful with my castle and I look forward to upgrading it even more soon.

Day 6: Castle building:
Today I only got a short time on Minecraft which i used to start laying out the foundations for expanding my castle.
The Moat and foundations

I am currently expanding the moat ready to make a three floor base in-between the walls which I will then put a top structure on top.
I will be continuing with this probably in two days time.

Day 5: So stupid it might work

Today I carried on with my Survival save by thinking how i could make my new home.
Then the idea came to me; what if I could take my old house to this new land. With that thought i set off to start my most ambitious project yet. I built a small airship out of wood and set off to go back to Castle Drogo using the compass block I had made earlier.
Airship Fighter class

After a while of flying in the direction of my compass I became truly lost.
The compass that I had in my hand and that which I had on the block were pointing incompletely opposite directions and then while trying to turn around I lagged out of the ship and died.

Luckily though I re spawned on my old Island next to Castle Drogo (Even though I had set it to re spawn on my larger airship.) I had inly lost a few Pick axes, some wood and a Zeppelin remote which I then remade later. Once I got to Castle Drogo I began to dig it out of the ground. I then went looking for the materials to make a Airship controller and then placed that on top of my Castles veranda ready to fly.

UP

I then used the information I had about where the town was to navigate back to the town where I landed
my house and set out to reattach it to the landscape.
New home
I then started to experiment Building Generators and a Pump which I will hopefully be using tomorrow.
I also re attached all the doorways I took off and added more lights to scare away monsters.
After that I re-made my Zeppelin remote and made my Zeppelin park on the roof of the castle so I can get to it when I need it.
New moorings
Once I had finished that I then found out that the villagers would now Ransack my house for goods since they are now scavenging for parts to build their village. To stop this I proceeded to make a Moat to stop the villagers from getting tom my castle. I also remade the lift to my bedroom making it also go down to my Mine underneath my house.

Castle Drogo
I then Had to find a way to get across the moat myself so I built a simple Piston bridge that when down would wash away the attacking villagers without doing harm since NPC villagers cannot swim.
My piston bridge
The Moat is activated by a Lever next to my Castles main door. So far the Moat has kept away both Villagers and Monsters so I can build and rest in peace.
Once I had finished my castle I then Proceeded to help the villagers by trying to find wool for them as well as wood, cobble and glass which they then used to create three new Buildings that are still waiting for villagers to settle in.
Village Shop, houses and church
Now I am a regular Visitor to the Village even though I own a once flloating castle right next to their village.
I look forward to seeing them make a forge tomorrow which will help me find new metals which I can buy.

After Helping the villagers I went looking around the area for Rubber Trees to get Resin and Sheep to get wool so I could make my Hydro electric power generator and wind power gentrator to go on my castle.

While on my travels I ran into another Village right next to the one I am in now which has a few more buildings and villagers which I traded with and did quests for.

Then I returned home and am now resting waiting to create all sorts of new contraptions in the morning as well as expanding my Castle and Zeppelin. I would also Like to help the Village tomorrow since I wish to buy a staff which can crate villages. This will allow me to get more items and Quests making me a Higher level on Minecraft.

Overall today went well and I look forward to another great day in Minecraftia some time soon in the future.

Day Four: Experimentation

Today I Carried on with my Survival mode and started experimenting with different recipes to produce a Project table which can store items as well as craft them. I then went on to create a Remote control for my Zeppelin and a Macerator which I started to look into different ways of harnessing energy to power it.
To make these experiments worked I first learnt the Recipes by finding it a lot easier to click R when hovering over an Object that appears with all Objects in the game to the Right of my inventory.

This is allowed by one of the Mods in the Technic pack I think. You will have to check on Kyles page to see if he has written anything on Survival on the Vanilla version.

I then built a generator and was about to connect the two together when I decided that I would Leave Castle Drogo and carry on with my original Quest to find a Village. So i began collecting my stuff into chests and removing all the doors and equipment in the castle including a work in progress Piston door and began making changes to my Airship ready to Fly to a new home on a bigger Island.
The first of the Cleaning process was removing all the door of the castle but the original shell, Lifts and widows are still in tact.
My house
I then began to clear out all my Machinery, Pistons, Wall photos and Chests into three large chests which I would later move to my Airship.
Living room
The final place I Cleared was my Bedroom which I had only stayed a Day in real life in and removed all its Beds, Its crafting table and its trap doors.
Bedroom

Then I came to renovating my Airship. To do so I added An extra area at the Back of the Ship which I added four Chests to Which I then placed all my stuff. I also Added a larger Wing span which I later edited because bother sides weren't perfect and added a large vertical wing on top. I intend to Add a larger Back piece next time which will Include a Larger Crafting area, Bedroom and Living room with automated Pistons as tables.
Storage room

Airship MK2II

Then I had one last look around the Area and went back to my original Shack where I found my old Pet Porky the Turtle who when i tried to take to the ship, fell off and wasn't seen again. All there is now, is two spontaneous Chests that appeared in my Inventory.
When Dawn Broke I set off once again and this time with more items. Annoyingly for the third time I lost my Diamond Pick to Lava which always seem to happen. So I left with an Emerald Pick and several other materials such as Copper, Uranium and more and set off to find a larger more inhabited Island.

A few minutes after taking off, I found Land, Unlike previous Islands i had encountered before; This was Huge and as i got further in it was filed with a Large tree which I duly crashed into creating no damage to my craft.
Crash landing
I disembarked from my Vehicle and Turned it back into a normal Object so it would not glitch up and loose all my stuff.
I spent a few short moments looking around the area and then proceeded to embark my vehicle once more and carried on out of the forest.

As soon as I got out of the forest I then Clicked X on my keyboard to find that a Village had spawned beneath my Ship.
So i then proceeded to descend slowly down towards the village and nearly crashed into a villagers house by two blocks.
Luckily I did not land on any of the villagers.
Perfect landing
I then Edited the wingspan as said before and added room for the top chests to open in my Ship and out a bed on top of my ship to sleep on as well as stairs to get to it. So far in my eye the ship is effectively a Tardis; Smaller on the inside and bigger on the outside (Or did i get that wrong).
The village Fortres
Airship in its new home
The village composes of three houses one of which is housed to some kind of fashion priest and the other two are homes of Knights and their wives. In the centre is the Fortress which is home to a woman and her husband who run the village and who I traded to in the morning by just selling them a lot of cobblestone, wood and glass which I then received Scrolls of information on their local area.

I then built a mine and got more Cobble which I sold to the woman and am now a regular face to the villagers.
I then did four quests of which the first two were the same as the last two. One was for me to give a sword to a persons husband who was just next to her and the other was to give another husband his Lunch whose wife was also just next to him.

Apparently the more stuff I sell the more buildings are built but it takes time.

Tomorrow I will be moving my ship outside the village and expanding it as well as building a new home to work on and build all kinds of new contraptions including Quarry's and more machinery.

I will definitely be staying in this new area and possibly having a look at another village which is East of this one and possibly much larger.

I also look forward to buying a staff from the villagers which allows me to make my own Villages from a single Block but I have to reach the level of One of them to do so.

Day three: Castle Drogo

Today I carried on with my Minecraft Survival save by first Building a large mine which now stretches to the other side of the Island. Once I reached the other side I built a Lift that would take me up to the surface that was on the other side of the gorge.
The Mighty Lift

The Lift is quite small and can sometimes Lag making me fall to the Bottom of the Mine and then having to go through a vast network trying to get back to my original mine. This happened on a number of occasions.

The Mighty Lift (underground)

The actual mine is quite large and filled with all sorts of materials such as Copper, Iron, Tin and more complex stuff like redstone, Obsidian, gold and Nikolite. These are only a few of the materials, I shall soon build a quarry to mine for me making much more time to build.

I then began to build my future home on this new found larger Island which is too far from my last and now composes of a Living room, Crafting room, Bedroom/tower and Staircase. There is also a trap door down to my original mine which i Built the house on top of.

Castle Drogo
The first thing I started was the tower which you can see above as well as the entrance is the small doo on the right below which is right next to the trapdoor down to the mine.

To build the tower I worked my way up to as far as I wanted to go and then built a Lift that goes up to the top and can be seen as the wooden part of the castle to the left on the above Picture.

Once i had got the basic surface of the tower floor I went back down and Built the Living room which there is also a Crafting room with an extra Furnace and crafting table below the tower.

The actual Living room compromises only of a Furnace, Chest, Crafting table and Industrial Furnace which i now will use to make Industrial blocks.

I built this room by building walls and a roof around the Tower and Mine and made the floor out of wood.

I then added Glass windows and all the necessities I said above to make my main area of living.
I them Added Stairs to the Veranda and door to the tower as well as wooden doors and a Trap door with a Lever to the Mine.

I may add a second floor to this room or even make a court yard outside with addition buildings. Only time will tell.
Living room

Then finally I Moved on to the Main Bedroom which I made by adding Windows and walls to the original tower as well as a Door to the lift. I then added Two beds and a Wooden roof with battlements which I made accessible by two trap doors above the lift entrance.

The room can also be accessed by stairs that run up to tower which can be accessed through three trap doors.

So far the Tower is a little uneven and I will Fix its shape next time I play Minecraft.
Finally I named the Castle, Castle Drogo which will be Upgraded when i next have the materials.

Bedroom

Then I went exploring the Area finding all sorts of Rubber trees which gave me Resin as well as I explored the Gorge and found a cave filled with Obsidian ready to be used for my trip to the Nether.
The Gorge
The Gorge was filled with all sorts of Loot such as more Coal as well as Uranium which i will hopefully use to power my Island from a second Island.

I then returned home to place all my stuff in my Chests and then made my way to the Top of the Gorge where I built a bridge to get to my Large Lift on the other side of the Island.
The bridge

I look forward to Expanding my Castle tomorrow and Adding all sorts of contraptions such as Red stone Lights and loads of other useful gadgets and Machines made possible by Industrial craft and many more mods available by the Technic Pack.

I may also try and get the Philosophers stone making it much easier to get al the higher level materials

Day two: The quest for Adventure.

Today I started my Second day in Minecraftia. What I forgot to mention in my last post is that I was stuck on an Island and could not find any way of getting off it. So the first thing I thought to do was make a mine to get to another plot of Land which would hopefully have a village. This led to me today getting lost in the mine and falling into lava, Loosing all my stuff.

So today I began work on a Zeppelin. I made a simple shape out of wood and Built my flight controller whcih meant that i had to change some keyboard controls. The Zeppelin can be seen below.

Airship MK1

Soon After I built it I took off and could already see the many new lands as well as my very own house.
Flying above Shack

I then  proceeded to explore a Volcano that was not too far away from my first Island and ended up making a failed attempt at farming Obsidian.
Finally I proceeded to go back to my Zeppelin and clicked the wrong Button making it merge with the landscape. I am now trying to take the Zeppelin apart and Rebuilding it so i can Continue my "Quest for Adventure"!!!!!!!!!!.
Bad landing

When I came back to my Minecraft save, I began to Dismantle the Zeppelin and Build a new and improved version names Zeppelin MK 2 (Really cant be nothered to come up with a name -But it will be added later to the ship via a signpost-). THe second zeppelin I built can be seen below.

Airship MK2

After a game crash later, several times where i fell out of the ship and after several improvements to the ship (Such as a Crafting table, furnace and several doors for safety) I made it to a new land and Parked my Zeppelin In the sea ready to explore this new land and Upgrade my zeppelin to a higher degree of awsomnesss!!!!.

Landing in new home
`

Finally I had a brief look around my surroundings and found no source of life apart from Monsters and went back to my Ship ready to start a new day exploring a new Gorge i found when i next go on Minecraft.

Above the Gorge

I will also most likely have to make a lift to get down there.
In the beginning

Today I started a new Minecraft part using the Popular Technic Mod as my first ever game of Survival.

First of all, I made a house out of wood and stayed inside while exploring/digging caves and getting new equipment.
The shack

As you can see from the picture below i started to get  a lot of Items from underground but sadly lost a diamond pick axe because of a Lava accident.
Inventory check

The technic mod Adds a whole load of Items and that you can craft to create new things as well as you can create industrial Machines and Computers that do most of the mining and crafting for you leaving you time to craft the best of weapons and Items that you would ever need.
This mod is also updated all the time so you will never get bored like the original game itself.
I then had a quick Vew of creative Mode and saw the devestation of what seven Nuclear Exploasions can do to a Village, as seen below by an explosion of about seven nukes all at once.

The creative mode and Other modes can be hard to graspe at first but I will Hopefully learn to be able to craft all these items in the near furure and Teach you how to do it.
Massive explosion

Overall for my first time on Minecraft i had a great time and thought that this mod is definately worth getting if you know more about the original game first and have experianced past mods.

If you wish to play the mod it can be downloaded here and the actual Minecraft game can be bought and downloaded here.
